6 Mistakes To Avoid When You’re In A New Relationship.

RelationshipDon’t push your Relationship with a person too tough , if its meant to be then it’ll show up – Mistakes to avoid when you’re in a new relationship.

Although there is no set formula for managing your new relationship, avoiding these mistakes below will surely help you…

1.  Don’t exaggerate or rush

Relationship

Very often a new relationship can make you lose your mind: All you want to do sometimes is to spend all your time with your partner and give up everything else in your life – friends, hobbies, family, your dog, etc. – and you’ll have to leave everything else behind.  New relationships are intoxicating, and you should by all means enjoy every minute of it.  However, don’t overdo it, find the right balance between your passions and your new adventure, or you may lose everything in the end.

2.  Not holding back is a bit risky

A new relationship is scary, especially when it comes to revealing your true self to another person.  So play it cool.  Give your partner time to discover you gradually.  Don’t be too hasty, telling everything about yourself at the same time.  It may happen that you reveal one of your attributes to her or him that does not suit her or him at all, and that may scare her or him away.  Then let him or her discover you, but with moderation, and let time do the rest.

3. Enough with the games

You’re in a relationship now.  You don’t have to play child’s games, you’re past that.  Maybe you will refrain from calling back or replying to messages, and if something is bothering you, you refrain from telling him or her or not talking about it (that’s the kind of games we’re talking about).  If you do any of these things, you are doing a great job of sabotaging your relationship in the long run.  Communication is the key to any successful relationship, and learning how to communicate with your partner is one of the best things you can do.

4.  Stay yourself always and everywhere

Remember who you are and for no reason in the world someone has to shape you as they see fit.  Remove yourself from the mind that your partner will judge you.  If that’s the case, you’re probably with the wrong person.  Your whole person, including your personality, the way you think and talk, what you wear, etc., is specific to you.  Don’t lose your uniqueness, and don’t give up these wonderful things just to please another person – or expect that from the other person.

5.  Don’t be lazy

Do you remember how pleasant and thoughtful you were when you first started dating your partner?  Don’t stop this and don’t be overconfident that your partner is already under your control.  The pleasure of a new relationship lies in the fact that you are not programmed into a routine right away.  Don’t be quick to play lazy.  Innovate all the time.  Create surprises to make him/her happy.

6.  Don’t compare your new partner to your ex-boyfriend.

We’re all different.  Don’t compare your new partner to your ex because by doing so you risk losing that new person.  Live in the moment!
